Is it free to find a professional on TradeLynq?
Yes — browsing, reading reviews, and making enquiries are completely free for clients. You never pay anything to TradeLynq; you pay the professional directly for the work.
How do I know the professionals are trustworthy?
We verify professionals through a multi-step process: government-issued ID, a live selfie match, and optional insurance certificate upload. Verified professionals display a shield badge on their profile. Reviews are moderated before they go live — no anonymous blasts or fake five-stars.
How do I contact a professional?
Once you find someone you like, click the contact button on their profile. You can reach them via WhatsApp, phone, or email depending on their preference. Your first two connections are free; after that a small platform fee applies.
What if the professional doesn't respond?
Most professionals respond within a few hours. If you don't hear back within 24 hours, try contacting another professional in the same category. You can also message TradeLynq support via WhatsApp and we'll follow up.
Can I leave a review after the job is done?
Yes. After your enquiry is marked completed, you'll be able to leave a star rating and written testimonial. Reviews are moderated within 1–2 business days before going live on the professional's profile.
Is my personal information safe?
Your contact details are only shared with the professional when you initiate contact — they're never publicly visible. We use Supabase-managed PostgreSQL with Row Level Security, and we never sell your data. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.

For professionals

How much does it cost to list my services?
Listing plans start at TTD $200/month after a 6-week free trial. There's a one-time TTD $200 registration fee at sign-up. No hidden fees — you keep 100% of what clients pay you directly.
What's the difference between the plans?
The Starter plan gives you a basic listing with your services and contact info. Growth, Pro, and Elite plans unlock priority placement, featured spots in search, ad credits, and profile boosts. You can compare all plans on our Pricing page.
Can I cancel or change my plan at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from your dashboard at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. Note that WiPay processes payments as one-time charges — there is no automatic recurring billing.
How does the verification process work?
After creating your listing, you can submit your national ID (front + back), a selfie, and optionally an insurance certificate. Our team reviews submissions within 1–2 business days. Verified professionals get a shield badge and rank higher in search results.
How do clients find me?
Clients search by service category and area. Your listing appears in results ranked by verification status, review score, plan tier, and recency. Completing your profile — bio, portfolio photos, and verified reviews — significantly improves your visibility.
Can I import my existing client reviews?
Yes! During onboarding you can add up to 5 seeded reviews from real past clients. These are labelled as "imported" and still go through moderation. After your listing is live, clients can leave new verified reviews through the platform.
What categories are supported?
TradeLynq covers a wide range of professional services — trades (electrical, plumbing, carpentry), beauty & wellness, creative services, tech, events, education, health, automotive, pets, and more. If your category isn't listed, message us on WhatsApp and we'll add it.

What areas of Trinidad & Tobago does TradeLynq cover?
We cover all of Trinidad and Tobago. Service areas are set by professionals themselves, so availability varies by region. Port of Spain, San Fernando, Chaguanas, and Arima typically have the most listings.
Is TradeLynq only for home services?
No — TradeLynq covers any professional service, not just home trades. We have beauty therapists, photographers, accountants, tutors, personal trainers, event planners, and many more.
How do I report a problem with a professional or client?
Contact us via WhatsApp or email at support@tradelynq.tech. We take reports seriously and will investigate within 1 business day. Professionals found in violation of our terms will have their listings suspended.
