Every professional on TradeLynq is manually reviewed before going live. If someone significantly misrepresents their services, message us on WhatsApp and we'll step in personally.

Use the search bar to type your service (e.g. “nail tech”, “electrician”, “web designer”). You'll see results from across Trinidad. Use the Area filter to narrow down to your neighbourhood.
The Availability filter is useful if you need someone urgently — filter for “Project-based” or “By appointment” to match your schedule.
Look for the ID Verified and TradeLynq Verified badges on profiles. Verified professionals have had their identity confirmed by our team.
2. Understand the trust badges
We've checked a valid National ID or Passport. You know you're dealing with a real person.

Professionals without badges are still real listings — they simply haven't completed document verification yet. We encourage all professionals to verify so clients can hire with confidence.
3. Read the reviews properly
Don't just look at the star rating. Read the testimonials — they tell you about punctuality, communication, quality of work, and value for money.
Reviews marked as Featured have been highlighted by our team for being especially detailed and useful. Seeded reviews (from the professional's own clients before joining TradeLynq) are marked clearly.
A professional with 4.8 stars and 12 reviews is more trustworthy than one with 5 stars and 1 review.
4. Describe your job clearly
Professionals can quote accurately and respond faster when your message is specific. Use this checklist:
- State the problem, not just the symptom — "water drips from the ceiling" not just "leak"
- Give the size or scope: number of rooms, square footage, or hours expected
- Mention your timeline and any preferences (morning visits, weekends only, etc.)
- For beauty services, share a reference photo so they know exactly what you want
- Ask for a written quote before any work begins
5. Vet before you commit
Before confirming any booking, check off this list:
- Read their full bio and years of experience
- Check for trust badges — TradeLynq Verified is our gold standard
- Read at least 3 reviews, not just the overall rating
- Note which areas they serve — listed under their name
- If they offer a WhatsApp number, save it before reaching out
6. If something goes wrong
If a professional misrepresents their skills, doesn't show up without notice, or behaves unprofessionally, here's what to do:
- Document what happened (screenshots, dates, amounts).
- Message TradeLynq directly on WhatsApp — we respond personally within 24 hours.
- If you had a verified booking, leave an honest review. Your review helps other clients.
TradeLynq does not mediate payment disputes between clients and professionals, but we will investigate reports of misrepresentation and can remove professionals who repeatedly fail clients.
